Our therapy team will assess and evaluate your condition and establish a plan of care that will address those deficits that hinder you from performing your usual activities of daily living including functional mobility ( including bed mobility, transfers and ambulation, as well as wheelchair mobility) and self care. Deficits may include but not limited to musculoskeletal pain, limitations in range of motion, weakness, lack of balance and coordination and lack of safety awareness within environment.
Our therapy team delivers services that are patient driven. We customize specific programs that are relevant and interesting to the patient. Patients and family are integral part of the program and so, we encourage them to participate in goal setting. In doing so, we believe that we can achieve the best outcome. Our team promotes an environment that suits the need of the patient. Every person is different so we make sure to individualize our approach. We love what we do and your progress is our reward.
Our physical therapy team helps patients to improve on quality of life by improving strength, balance, posture, and mobility. We address every deficit using interventions which may include but not limited to Therapeutic Exercises , Massage Therapy , Neuromuscular Reeducation, balance training in sitting and/or standing, coordination exercises , stretching exercise for flexibility, postural training/management, pain management, as well as functional mobility which may include bed mobility, transfers and gait training with or without use of assistive device in order to attain your highest functional independence.
Our team of Occupational Therapists are experts in ADLs( Activities Of Daily Living ) which may include but not limited to dressing, feeding, toiletIng, hygiene and bathing. Weakness, lack of balance and coordination( fine and gross motor) , and cognitive changes, can greatly affect function and safety within a person’s environment. Our experts do comprehensive evaluation and establish plan of care to help you safely return to your prior level of function. Intervention may include strengthening, balance training, coordination exercises, recommendations and use of adaptive equipments and self care training.
Our team offers services including personal training and group exercise classes to help you achieve your fitness goal with safety. We also provide classes on health and wellness covering wide range of topics that will help increase awareness and understanding of disease process and intervention.
Our therapy team can help reduce work-related injuries by performing regularly scheduled environmental and ergonomic assessment in addition to wellness program that we offer to our clients. This will help improve efficiency and performance at work and significantly reduce injury- related costs.
